March 2023 Newsletter: A Surprise Mind Change!
Our 2023 Justice Ride team! Can you spot me? I’m on the ground near the middle. |
As you know from my last newsletter, we just had our Justice Ride! The 50-ish of us went down to Florida on one big charter bus (unlike last year, when we took two buses since we had more people). While unfortunate that we had fewer people this year, having only one bus allowed our whole team to get to know each other better than we could have otherwise, and that was SO nice.
Season 3 of The Debrief:
Pro-Life Outreach, has begun (with me as a host)! |
At the National Memorial for the Unborn
One of our stops on the Justice Ride is the National Memorial for the Unborn. Located in Chattanooga, TN, it used to be an abortion clinic, but now half of it is a pro-life pregnancy center, and the other half is a memorial to honor those who have been lost to abortion. Inside it is a wall covered in plaques bearing names, dates, and messages from mothers, fathers, and other relatives of those who were killed. There is also a notebook containing heartbreaking hand-written letters to the babies. It is a very somber place, and always impactful to our Justice Riders.
Some of my Florida friends came to outreach and then to the
beach with us!
One last thing: most of you probably know that Michigan recently amended their constitution to allow for abortion up to birth with no restrictions. Well now they’re trying to do the same thing in Ohio. Thus, Created Equal will be spending an enormous amount of time this year fighting that. Pray for our efforts, and please, if you live in Ohio, don’t be afraid to reach out to see how you can help! The evil is great and formidable, but our God is greater.
Prayer
Requests
- For each of the Justice Riders, that they would remain committed and continue
to grow
- That I would remain committed, especially in light of this proposed
amendment to the OH constitution
- For me to have an attitude of gratefulness in everything and to refrain from
complaining
